My office mates may not agree but IMHO Miles Teller has the quirky good looks and charm that make me drool. Lucky for me, and his millions of other fans, we’re going to see a lot more of the former Cape May resident soon as he gears up to release FOUR (count ’em) four more movies this year, including a biographical criminal war comedy called War Dogs (don’t let the criminal war part throw you off) with fellow funny man, Jonah Hill, and Bradley Cooper.
War Dogs follows real-life friends, Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill) and David Packouz (Miles Teller), from Miami who land a crazy $300 million U.S. weapons contract with the Afghan military. The 29-year-old Divergent star revealed he’s very proud of this role. The film is directed by Todd Phillips, the same man who brought you The Hangover trilogy.
“My dad emailed me immediately, saying, ‘You’ve got to get in this movie,’” Miles said about his dad to Entertainment Weekly. “It ended up working out! Stories like this don’t come around so often for guys in their early to mid-20s who are involved in a world with these kind of stakes.”
War Dogs hits theaters on Aug. 19. Before then, check out the official trailer below:
