The days of passing by the Eileen Fisher display in the department stores is now long gone, thanks to their Spring 2016 collection. The three-decade-old fashion brand, known for their simple, timeless styles, and loved by the 50-to-60 crowd, has freshened up their latest threads, reflecting a more youthful vibe. I had a front row seat at their spring presentation at Bloomingdales at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, and let me tell you, WOW! This collection mirrored Celine and The Row, with elegant silk dresses, beautifully-constructed draped tops, and on-trend boxy culottes in rich linens. In contrast to their usual oatmeal and khaki color scheme, this collection included a lovely variety of contemporary colors, from rich navy, to bold orange, and a stunning royal pink. This collection has everything your wardrobe needs, from classic office-wear separates, to casual weekend duds, and that perfect summer cocktail-party dress.
