Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo has traded in four seasons and good pizza, for year-round sunshine and green juices galore. Since moving to California nearly a year ago, Dina has been fully embracing her new residence, well sort of. Although she is not a fan of pumping her own gas and paying tax on clothing, she is the happiest she’s ever been, living near the beach in Malibu with her boyfriend Dave Cantin.
Dina told me when I chatted with her on the phone last week about her new skincare line, “I love it here so much. What’s not to love here. The weather is amazing. I’m not so weird here. With my spirituality and beliefs, I fit in a little bit better. I feel like I was a Cali girl trapped in Jersey.”

But Dina says she will continue to come back to Jersey to visit, since her family is still here. She has a place in New York City, so she can visit her daughter Lexi Ioannou, who attends Fordham University. She was just here over Mother’s Day Weekend, spending time in Montclair with her mother Nettie and Lexi.

I’m sure you are wondering if she will be appearing on the upcoming season of the Housewives, which is set to premiere later this year. Dina told me that’s not happening. She says, “I couldn’t physically because I don’t live in Jersey. I talked to Andy Cohen and we all agreed it wouldn’t work. I’m not a Jersey girl anymore. I didn’t want to be fake and rent a house in New Jersey.”
But, Dina says she’s not against making a cameo appearance, just not for next season. Dina told us, “You never know. They wrapped for this season. Teresa Giudice invited me to events and I really wanted to make it, but it didn’t work out. I’m not against showing up, it was just not working because of where I live”
Right now Dina is focused on her new skincare line, Glow By Dina, and has no regrets about turning down Bravo. She said, “This is where my new life is going to be. I think it’s healthy to put your focus on what is real.”
We couldn’t agree more Dina.
