Grace Helbig, the 30-year-old YouTube vlogger, has accomplished a lot already — 2.9 followers on the video platform, a The New York Times No. 1 bestseller Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be a Grownup and this year’s Grace & Style, a starring role in the film Camp Takota, alongside fellow YouTube sensations Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart — but she hasn’t done everything. Yet. For a video series called “Never Have I Ever,” the New Jersey native decided to tackle several popular beauty regimens and, of course, filmed her efforts.
If you’ve seen Kim Kardashian‘s contoured face (a practice she popularized and recently disavowed) and wondered, what in the world is contouring and how do I do it?, you’ll enjoy watching Helbig boldly try what she calls “girly things.”
What’s especially endearing is that Helbig clearly doesn’t take herself or her attempts to beautify her body too seriously, and we can laugh — and learn — right along with her. As she told Hello Giggles in February about how she defines style, “You are a canvas, and how you are most comfortable and confident is the greatest art piece that you can create.”
