Charlie Puth might be a fresh face in the music world, but he’s already earned respect from some of today’s top earning artists. The 24-year-old Rumson native has worked with musicians like Meghan Trainor, Wiz Khalifa, Cee-Lo, Lil Wayne and more. This time, Charlie has his mind-set on collaborating with former One Direction member, Zayn Malik.

“I’d work with Zayn, anybody. I think the R&B, stylistically we could mesh. It would be really cool,” Charlie told Capital FM. “I am a huge fan of Zayn. I would love to – I think he’s a fantastic songwriter and he’s just a great guy.

“I love guys who are making real music.” Charlie said. “Anybody who’s making real music and putting their heart into it. I can see where he’s coming from for a lot of these songs. I’m a huge fan. I just love the sonics of everything he’s doing too.”

The “One Call Away” crooner, who recently celebrated a Billboard Music Award win, also revealed his interest in working with music icon Stevie Wonder and British girl group, Little Mix. In fact, Stevie has already reached out to Charlie in hopes of creating some vocal magic.

If this Charlie and Zayn collaboration happens, prepare for your hearts to melt!
