New Jersey native and popular YouTube vlogger Grace Helbig shared her favorite products of the month with her 2.9 million subscribers. In typical Grace fashion, each item description was hilarious, yet totally helpful.
Here are Grace’s favorite products, and where to buy them!
We already know that Grace doesn’t take the whole makeup thing too seriously, but when she does want to contour, she uses the BB Mate Contouring Kit. According to the Jersey girl, the kit is super easy to use (kind of).
“My face is a little bit darker than my body,” said Grace. “But, if you’re a dog, you won’t notice.”
Well, that’s all that matters, isn’t it?
“It’s a very nice shimmering thing to put on your face in different areas,” explained Grace. Oh, so that’s what highlighter is. “It gives you all of the glowy benefits of being pregnant without the baby part.”
PS, Sephora also carries a liquid BECCA highlighter, if pressed powders aren’t your thing.
Liquid lipsticks are notoriously flaky (get it?), but Grace found a winner in the Lilly Singh and Smashbox collaboration. Her testimonial is straight to the point.
“It stays on your mouth.”
What more could you ask for?
4. GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment – $69
“This is a facial mask. For your face. In mask form.”
But seriously, this facial mask comes with an applicator brush, which looks amazing and prevents a mess.
5. beautyblender – beautyblender nude – $20
“I’m sure you know what this is. If you don’t, it’s meant to blend in all the beauty,” is Grace’s extremely technical description of a beauty blender.
The vlogger particularly loves this beauty blender, because it comes in “the color of a dirty beauty blender,” which is awesome, because it keeps people wondering if your blender is actually dirty, or just came in that color. Brilliant!
Grace isn’t totally sure how this purple conditioner works, but she does know that purple shampoos and conditioners are great for platinum blonde locks. She suggested that if you want to try it, you should Google how to use the dial on the packaging.
Here are the directions from Ulta Beauty:
“Adjust dial as needed, for example, increase after sun exposure, swimming or prolonged mineral-rich water use. Decrease when satisfied with haircolor tone. Can be used daily when dialed at the minimum color deposit or up to twice a week when dialed at the medium or maximum color deposit (refer to the dial). Apply to damp hair. Leave on 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.”
7. Men’s t-shirts – $17.99
Grace’s style icon is apparently Dennis the menace. Her expert advice for dressing for a short torso? Buy men’s t-shirts! They’re cut longer, so they’ll create the illusion of a longer torso.
8. Moleskine notebooks – $7-30
Grace doesn’t think that Moleskine notebooks are actually made of mole skin, but even if they are, she loves having a bunch of them around because it makes her feel like she has a lot of ideas.
9. The New Astrology Book – $17
Grace received Suzanne White‘s “The New Astrology Book,” as a gift. She says that it’s really spot on and helps give “sneaky insight” on the people around you.
10. Dysh app – Free
Grace promises that she’ll be mentioning Dysh, the food photo sharing app she’s associated with, in every monthly favorite products video. The app even has a giveback program, Dysh Feeds, which helps donate meals to the hungry. In May, Dysh donated 2474 meals!
