Comedian Tracy Morgan is an avowed animal lover, whose animals we are going to retroactively add to our list of cutest New Jersey celebrity pets. The Alpine resident and former Saturday Night Live cast member gave fans a glimpse of his aquarium, which includes sharks and a stingray, captioning the video “This is my hobby. I love them.”

This is my hobby. I love them.

Tracy apparently has a passion for animals that many of us (or at least, me) would be way too scared to keep as pets, although I must admit they look beautiful safely within the confines of their tank, which was shown on Tanked on Animal Planet, holds 2,700 gallons and weighs more than 50 tons!

Tracy, who was in a car accident last year, is thankfully back in action, performing comedy shows across the country, joking in his act that the accident may have even been a boon to his career. He told Rolling Stone, “Maybe when I was in heaven, Richard Pryor said something to me. I feel funnier than I ever felt.” His Picking Up The Pieces tour wraps up tomorrow in Chicago.

Back in fighting shape. I will knock you out with my funny America!!

Tracy has credited his wife, Megan Wollover, and daughter Maven Sonae Morgan, 2, with helping him get through his recovery process. “That’s the reason I survived. For her. Her and my wife. Those are my star players. It inspired me to get out of my wheelchair and take my first steps,” he revealed to TODAY.

All day everyday
