5 reasons Dina Manzo needs to return to ‘RHONJ’ immediately

A new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey means a new cast lineup, which usually means saying goodbye to some of our favorites. Dina Manzo’s move to California means she won’t be around for Season 7, and we are so sad to see her go.

Of course, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans are hoping Dina will join a west coast cast, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that she’ll make her way back to Jersey.

Here are five reasons we need Dina Manzo back:

1. She’s an OG cast member
Season one cast members are just more fun. Diehard fans have been following their lives for years, so there’s no need to waste time getting to know them. (Like, why let biographical information about a new housewife eat up air time when we could be getting serious drama from one of our old favorites?)

The book drama from Season 1 was legendary.

2. She stands out visually
Dina was the only blonde-haired blue-eyed cast member. That might not sound substantial, but hear us out.

Obviously, if you love RHONJ, you can tell the cast members apart with more ease than you can tell your distant cousins apart. But if you’ve ever watched with your boyfriend, husband, father or any male friend who’s trying to keep up with the show, it’s always nice to have at least one person they can confidently identify.

3. Her daughter, Lexi, is still an east coast girl.
Lexi Ioannou is a student at Fordham University in New York. Although she flies back and forth between coasts, she’d be at school for most of the season.

A housewife’s storyline just isn’t as fun without her family! Which brings us to…

4. There wouldn’t be as much drama without the entire Manzo family
Sure, it would be cool to see Dina doing her own thing in her new home. But the best part about RHONJ (and really any other location) is all of the family drama!

5. The RHOBH are kind of already doing their own thingz
As much as the cast of RHOBH would love Dina, it would feel unnatural to add someone to the show just because they were a housewife in another location. Admit it, you think it’s super annoying when an irrelevant cast member shows up at a party they shouldn’t have been invited to. It’s always extremely obvious when someone has been added to a scene just for the show.

The solution? Dina should just bring the zen back to Jersey! Namaste, Dina!
