Fan refused to let several severe weather warning and a few rain showers get in the way of an unforgettable night of performances, surprise guests, announcements and more during Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2016 on Sunday. The highly anticipated music extravaganza is held annually at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford to packed crowds and hype guests.
Fans can expect to get more bang for their buck when it comes to this highly anticipated event. Artists you’d least expect to show up usually find their way to the stage and this year was no different. An explosion of talent graced the mic, making up for the cancellations and delays.
DJ Khaled blessed the crowd with an entourage of friends
Is there anyone this man doesn’t know? The self-proclaimed king of Snapchat travelled straight from Beyoncé‘s Formation tour in Philly to close out the show and to say he wasn’t alone would be an understatement. His guests included Meek Mill, Rick Ross, the LOX, Busta Rhymes, Yo Gotti, O.T. Genesis, Mavado, M.O.P. and Kent Jones.

Kanye West and crew hit the stage to perform their latest banger from their forthcoming collaborative project, Cruel Winter. The single has yet to be named. Pusha T, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott and newcomer Desiigner were alongside Yeezy. Of course, Desiigner performed his club anthem “Panda” and the audience went nuts! Fuego. Fuego. Fuego. Kim Kardashian was also there to support her man and capture all the moments on Snapchat.

Bryson Tiller serenaded the crowd with hits from his platinum debut studio album, Trapsoul. The 23-year-old Louisville native brought out Brooklyn rapper Fabolous for a few remixes.
Maino opens the show with nothing but heat!
