On June 3, the world lost one of the greatest fighters to ever enter the ring: Muhammed Ali. Born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr., the legendary three-time lineal world heavyweight champion was known for his impeccable moves, 57 knockouts, philanthropy, his outspoken personality, activism and kind heart.

Not only was he quick on his feet, but Muhammed was also good with his words too. This list highlights 12 quotes from “The People’s Champ” that will motivate you to push yourself harder and continue fighting for better.

2. Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.
