Is there anything Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi can’t do? The petite Jersey girl has been a reality TV star, author and is now poised to become a hip hop artist! Yes, you read that correctly, and she’s going by the appropriate name Young Mommy, inspired by her son, Lorenzo, and daughter, Giovanna, who both get a shoutout in her debut song (she rejected Young Wife).
Snooki recently went into the studio with Brandon Capp (aka B-Capp), even though she admits she can’t sing, to fulfill a longtime dream of hers, and of course she recorded her introduction to being a professional musical artist. As she writes in the video’s description, “I feel like I’ve tried just about everything, from reality shows to cheerleading competitions to WrestleMania! But I’ve always wanted to see what it was like to actually make my own song!”
In typical Snooki style, she asks if she can end with a burp! Watch the process of Snooki rapping her first hip hop single, where she improvises husband Jionni LaValle‘s name and rhymes “YouTube” and “baby food” and “my body changing” and “potty training.” We have to give props to Snooki for managing to shamelessly work “stretch marks” and “breastfeeding” into her flow when she ad libs. Watch Snooki get her groove on:
And stay tuned for Young Mommy’s first official video!
