Foundation is an integral part of any makeup routine. It is the base that helps you apply the rest of your products flawlessly. So making sure you find a high quality, long lasting one is important. With so many options to choose from, it can be quite a daunting task. Luckily for you, I have been around the foundation block, and I have found what I believe to be the best of the best.
Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying: I love a matte look, and this is one of my new favorites. It is a liquid to powder foundation that gives you amazing, long-lasting velvet matte coverage. It also helps absorb oil, and does a fabulous job at camouflaging imperfections. It gives you a full coverage look without looking too cakey. I never need powder, or touch ups with this foundation. That’s how strong its staying power is.
Givenchy Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation Broad Spectrum: This is a great light-weight foundation that looks, and feels like you are wearing nothing. But it somehow still gives you a flawless and smooth complexion. I use this on my off days when I’m not in the mood to do a full face.
Flormar Mat Touch Foundation: This is another amazing matte foundation. It gives your skin a flawless, smooth, velvety texture that lasts all day. And it does all of this without breaking the bank. Flormar’s prices are extremely affordable, so you won’t feel guilty buying this one.
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation: I have been using this foundation for years. This is a makeup bag staple for anyone who appears in front of the camera. Every makeup artist I know swears by this for on-camera. It gives you long-lasting coverage with a natural looking finish. It holds up beautifully against the harsh studio lights, and HD camera lenses. I wear this most days of the week, and it never breaks me out, or clogs up my pores. The color selection is huge, so you will have no problem finding a perfect match. I don’t see this leaving my arsenal anytime soon.
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation: I was never a big fan of foundation sticks until I tried this one. It is very similar to its liquid counterpart, but I have found this one leaves you with a more dewey, luminous look. It is mess-free, and so easy to use. It is also perfect for contouring, which is a nice added bonus.
