Lauren Conrad has come a long way since her days of catfights and spring break trips to Cabo on MTV’s Laguna Beach. Although she got her start as a television personality, the 30-year-old California native has since added author and fashion designer to her list.
She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty and work hard. The way Lauren manages to juggle her wide range of career responsibilities people have deemed her the millennial version of Jersey City-born entrepreneur Martha Stewart. During a recent interview with Redbook, the girl who didn’t go to Paris opened up about enviable comparison.
“Those are some big shoes to fill, and I really don’t see myself doing that,” Lauren told Redbook, while laughing at the notion.
The Hills star, who got married to hubby William Tell in 2014, has turned her love for fashion and design into her very own dynasty. Lauren has two popular collections (Paper Crown and LC Lauren) available at Kohl’s, a publishing business (which includes nine books, eight of which are New York Times best sellers), as well as, an online fair-trade retailer called The Little Market.
