When you have a franchise called The Real Housewives, you’d expect there to be a lot of, well, housewives. But, as we’ve seen over the years, a number of the stars on the show have gotten divorced leaving a lot more real single ladies instead.
The Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer announced split from husband Mario via Twitter in 2014, Real Housewife of Atlanta Phaedra Parks more recently called it quits with a newly imprisoned Apollo Nida, Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Yolanda Hadid broke up with David Foster in 2015, and Cynthia Bailey revealed she was separating from Peter Thomas after six years.
There was so much breaking up going on E! Online even calculated the divorce rate of the franchise and found it to be 33.9 percent. As any thorough study would do, the researchers also broke down the divorce rate for each cast. Proudly, New Jersey had the third lowest with 12.5 percent.
In fact, Dina Manzo was the only one to get divorced while Danielle Staub and Nicole Napolitano weren’t married on the show. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Caroline Manzo, Kathy Wakile, Teresa Aprea, Amber Marchese, and Jacqueline Laurita are still happily married.
The worst cast? The Real Housewives of D.C. with a rate of 100%.
Guess we know who we’re turning to for relationship advice.
