Bring a big appetite this weekend because the first Atlantic City Food Truck Festival is ready to feed you all sorts of delicious treats! The outdoor festival will take place Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at Brighton Park, between the Claridge Hotel and the boardwalk. Participating food trucks include The Wahlburgers truck (yes, the one founded by famous brothers Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg), Tacoholics, The Whirly Pig, Nick’s Roast Beef, Empanada Guy, Dump-N-Roll, Bonjour Creperie, Hai Street Kitchen, Jersey Johnny’s, My Four Suns, 1 Potato 2…, Uncle Mike’s Hand Rolled Soft Pretzels, Mad Dog Morgan’s, Chick’nCone, CheeZen, Mama’s Meatballs, PBandU, Mannino’s Cannoli Express and Pete’s Italian Ice. What else is in store for you at this yummy weekend event? Live music, craft vendors, a kids zone, beer, wine and spirits and live cooking demonstrations by chef Brian Duffy from Bar Rescue. one of these trucks will be crowned the festival’s Grand Champion. The winner will receive a $500 cash prize presented by Kimmie Kocktail and Leslie Jill of SNJ Today’s 2 Chicks and a Chef radio show. Judges include Duffy, Vincent Sacco aka Your Wine Guy, chef Michael Dangelo, Carrie Kaufmann Washington of Anthem Lounge, and Larry Sieg, Marketing Director of CRDA.
