Listen to Alicia Keys’ new song ‘Hallelujah’ from her film ‘Let Me In’

Saturday Night Live viewers got to hear Alicia Keys debut her song “Hallelujah” last month, and now she’s released the official audio version on YouTube. “Hallelujah” is part of the Englewood singer’s recordings for her forthcoming sixth studio album, after 2012’s Girl on Fire (though she has not yet announced a release date for the new record). Spin compared it to her other 2016 single, “In Common,” saying “Hallelujah” is “much more melancholic and bases itself off piano chords. ” Listen:

“Hallelujah” will be on the soundtrack to the film Let Me In, a fictional story about the refugee crisis, and is featured in the trailer. The movie, starring Keys, will premiere online on Monday, June 20, World Refugee Day.
