For those who want to enjoy a day at the Jersey Shore without battling traffic, here’s some good news for locals: Starting July 1, trolley service will run by New Jersey-based Great American Trolley Company from downtown to Point Pleasant Beach. As Patch reports, “The trolleys will run along Arnold Avenue, Ocean Avenue and Broadway.” Mayor Stephen Reid said, “One of my ideas is to make a family-friendly town and I want to see visitors come into our town, park their cars once and be able to move around.”

You can enjoy my favorite Jersey Shore fun spot, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, and other area delights. Visit NJ.com for more Point Pleasant Beach highlights.
