Summer love is in full effect in a flash mob wedding proposal video filmed in Asbury Park on June 11 in which Bryan Taylor pops the question to his girlfriend, Brittani Taylor, who of course said yes. Filmed by NRG Film Company, based in Tinton Falls, the six-minute video shows Brittani casually walking along the Asbury Park boardwalk until she starts to be serenaded by 80 of their friends and family, some of whom flew in from as far as Florida and North Carolina, to the tune of “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge.

Brittani told Asbury Park Press, “As I’m walking up to the boardwalk, I see a couple of Bryan’s friends, and I’m like, ‘Oh, hey!’ Then, I start seeing pictures and hearing this song, and through my head I was like, ‘Oh my God is this happening now? Is this happening?'”

The couple have been dating for four years, though knew each other when they each played basketball, he at Neptune High School, she at Red Bank. Bryan knew he wanted to propose as early as last year, but waited to get Brittani’s father’s approval, then organized the epic, memorable public proposal in under a month. He said, “She’s the love of my life. Once we started dating, within six months I knew in my mind that this was all I needed for the rest of my life. You just know, and it’s kind of hard to describe. You just know.”

If you can watch this video without crying (happy tears, of course), more power to you.
