Bruce Springsteen gave a 4-year-old fan the time of her life at a concert in Oslo, Norway recently when he brought the lucky youngster on stage with him.
As The Boss was belting out “Waitin’ on a Sunny Day” he plucked Hope Staneley from the front row, and handed her his mic to help out with the song’s chorus after her mother, Ellie, held up a sign that read, “Please Bruce, can I sing Sunny Day?”
Without skipping a beat, the adorable blonde sang the lyrics amidst cheers from the delighted crowd until the Long Branch native hoisted her on his shoulders for the song’s finale.
“Happy — I wasn’t scared at all,” the girl said in an NBC report.
But the once-in-a-lifetime memory isn’t the only thing the toddler left the concert with. Earlier in the show the Jersey icon handed her his harmonica as a keepsake!
The 66-year-old is currently on his The River Tour with upcoming dates scheduled throughout Europe before returning home to play three dates at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford at the end of August.
