In addition to being the season for hitting the beach and enjoying ice cream, summer is the perfect time to watch movies with the whole family. Besides the many free outdoor movie screenings across New Jersey, you can also see your favorite cartoons and other PG offerings for free starting Tuesday at State Theatre in New Brunswick. The six movies being shown on their 46-foot screen include: Frozen (July 12), E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (July 19), Despicable Me 2 (July 26), Babe (August 2), Monsters University (August 9) and Aladdin (August 16). There will be 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. screenings of each film so the kids can hit the beach or go to camp during the day and still watch a movie at night.

Free Summer Movie Series starts July 12th! #statetheatrenj #freemovies #movies #movieseries #family #free
