Melissa and Joe Gorga won’t be waking up in their dream house.
Set on a nearly 1-acre corner lot on Jasmine Court, the 9,500-square-foot home boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a kitchen with coffered ceilings and marble floors, enormous walk-in closets and a two-story great room.
During the early stages of construction on the French Chateau-style home, the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars leased out their Montville mansion and moved into their own rental in Franklin Lakes, but not without drama!
The Gorgas eventually evicted their renter, who withheld money and claimed Joe promised to make repairs on the Montville home but never delivered. Melissa revealed on Sunday night’s premiere that the family is back in Montville.
But the Franklin Lakes dream house still needs work and real estate agent Jerry Sahlman of RE/MAX Village Square/ Upper Montclair told NJ.com that the home will be completed by Joe.
“A Joe Gorga house is impeccable,” exclaimed the confident father of three in a Season 6 episode of the Bravo reality drama. “When you open up those history books and you look in Rome, that’s what I build. I just have that gift. I’m the Michelangelo of New Jersey of building homes.”
