The perfect way to maintain shine free skin all summer

Everyone wants flawless makeup that stays on all day long. Unfortunately during the summer, that task can be harder than expected. With the heat, sweat and excess oils, you can feel your makeup literally melting right off your face! That’s why I have chosen some of the best affordable primers, bases, powders and foundations to help you achieve a flawless look.

MAC Prep + Prime ($31)

This primer is great for an everyday primer. It does not have that tight feeling that a lot of other primers have. It applies easily and leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft.

No7 Beautifully Matte ($13)

This primer is great for longwear. It works well if you are going to be outdoors all day. It does have that stiff feel when you put it on, but it works beautifully at keeping your makeup stay put.

Lancóme 24H Makeup ($47)

This is my favorite foundation and the one I use daily. I have tried so many brands, but this one does the best at staying on all day! Even without primer I feel like alone this lasts longer than other foundations I have tried. Also, this foundation has SPF 15 built in for sun protection!

Wet n Wild Photo Focus ($5)

This has become my favorite eyeshadow primer recently. As soon as you put it on you feel the matte texture. It helps so much by keeping your eyeshadow in place and preventing creases. And the $5 price is a plus! You can find it at almost any drugstore.

e.l.f. HD Undereye Setting Powder ($3)

This undereye setting powder from e.l.f. is great for keeping your eye makeup from descending. This is great because it’s translucent, so you don’t get any of those tan crease lines like you would from a colored powder! The powder comes with a small applicator brush similar to one you would use for eyebrow powder. I choose to use a fluffy eyeshadow brush instead, and sweep from my undereye to the top of the cheekbone.

I hope some of these products have sparked your interest. There are so many different products out there, but these are just a few I have found that worked the best.
I am not a professional makeup artist, the opinions of these products are my own based on use of the products. This post is not sponsored by any of the brands featured.
