I am always excited when Miami swim fashion week comes around in July. The shows are full of color, intricate design and of course, gorgeous models. The setting can’t get any better poolside at the W and in bungalows at surrounding hotels like One and Beach House.
I of course had to (over)pack to make sure I had just the right outfits. Most of the runway shows are at night between 6-10pm which leaves the daytime for pool parties at SLS and Nikki Beach. Both are two of my favorite spots in Miami, which I will have elaborate on in a future post.
Dinners are also one of my favorite things to do while there, even though they happen late, after the shows. The first night we ate at The Forge. It was delicious and the decor is a must see! The second night was Villa Azur, a spectacular French place. It was my first time there and let me say it’s on my new must-go-to list when in Miami. The third night was spent at Prime 112, which has honestly changed over the years, and is no longer on the top of my list. On the last night we ate at Scarpetta. I had pasta as an appetizer and bronzino for dinner, and loved every bite of it!
Although we finished dinner late every night, there was always time to enjoy a night out at LIV and Rockwell, which means all of our outfits had to be versatile. I ended up wearing mostly rompers, surprisingly, since they have never been a style I usually wear. If you happen to follow me on snapchat or instagram you might have caught some of my looks. If not, here’s one!
