The Wakile family may be Italian, but they are taking over Greece. After a whirlwind few days in Barcelona, Spain, Kathy Wakile, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star who lives in Franklin Lakes, and her family have hopped over the Mediterranean to Greece and are sharing tons of drool-worthy pics.
Their first stop in the stunning country was Thessaloníki, Greece where Richard Wakile, Joseph Wakile and Victoria Wakile posted pictures from the port and an epic seafood feast. But, then it was on to the beach. Their first stop was the stunning shores of Nea Fokaia Xalkidiki, which is known for its clean beaches, restaurants and taverns with fresh fish.
They later attended a white party on the beach in the same seaside town that is home to the famous 19th century Byzantine tower.
Next up was a couple of days lounging at the Molos Beach Club in Hanioti where there is a bar, DJ and crystal clear waters.
They then headed off to the luxurious Sani Beach Hotel (room rates can average about $600 a night) perched above the azure waters of the breathtaking Cape Sani. Along with exclusive beaches, the hotel is also home to a spa and top-notch restaurants.
That didn’t end their beach tour. They also checked out Paliouri, Orange Beach Chalkidiki, and Sithonia/Chalkidiki all of which boast many beach bars, sports activities such as water sports and beach volley, and such clear water it will take your breath away.
And strolled through the village in Afytos, Chalkidiki where it feels like time has stopped as you wander along the cobblestone streets lined with shops and eateries.
The family even went clubbing together at the popular Pearl Club.
Kathy even shared a stunning video on August 16 from yet another beach: Ouranoupolis, a historic town founded by Cassander and his brother Alexarchus in the late 4th century BC.
The epic trip is to celebrate Kathy and Richard’s milestone wedding anniversary. “Will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary-we spent our honeymoon in Spain,” she wrote on social media adding she was “so blessed” to be able to return to that same country with their children.
