Former The Daily Show host Jon Stewart now keeps busy, along with his wife Tracey Stewart, a former veterinary technician and author of Do Unto Animals, with Bufflehead Farm, their 12-acre Middletown, New Jersey home for rescued animals. The farm houses all kinds of animals, giving them a loving place to live out the rest of their years free of abuse and cruelty, and instead doing fun things like engaging in exercise in the form of animal Olympics, which they chronicle on their Facebook page, The Daily Squeal.
Two of the most popular are pigs Anna and Maybelle, who celebrated their “rescueversary” in June and made our list of cutest New Jersey celebrity pets, because how could they not? Just look at how sweet, adorable and happy they are.
They were even named as two of Time‘s “100 most influential animals of 2016.” How cool is that? The magazine noted that they were rescued after they fell off a transport truck and went on to be adopted by the Stewarts.
Now you can take some of these rescue pigs’ spirit home with you and support a good cause at the same time with this 100% natural cotton canvas pillow bearing their images. The $50 pillow is hand screen printed and made exclusively for Farm Sanctuary, the nonprofit organization the Stewarts partnered with to launch Bufflehead Farm.
The same image is also available on a tote bag for $37, also made of 100% natural cotton canvas and hand screen printed.
Want other ways to show your support for farm animals? (These also make great holiday gifts for the animal lover in your life.) There’s also an Anna and Maybelle mug.
