It’s a new week! Per usual, there’s lots going on in the busy state of New Jersey, so here are a few things that we think should definitely be on your radar.

1. There’s a beach hazard warning.
Tropical Storm Gaston has the potential to create some pretty dangerous weather conditions along the Jersey Shore and the National Weather Service has released a beach hazard warning, reported NJ.com. If you’re planning on hitting the beach, make sure to use extreme caution while swimming!

2. It’s the last week to wear white (if you follow the rules).
Labor Day is September 5, so if you’re a stickler for fashion rules, you only have a few more chances to showcase the best white pieces in your wardrobe.

3. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are performing their last MetLife show.
If you’re a true fan of the Boss, you’ve probably had this marked on your calendar for months, but here’s a friendly reminder that Bruce will be at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Tuesday, August 30. Will he be going for the record for longest show ever?

4. New Jersey totally killed it at the VMAs.
Celebrities from the Garden State really rocked the VMAsJoe Jonas and his band DNCE picked up the award for Best New Artist. Fifth Harmony and Fetty Wap’s “All In My Head” won song of the summer. Alicia Keys made an emotional tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. on the 53rd anniversary of his “I Have a Dream” speech (looking fabulous and makeup-free). Nick Jonas performed in a diner. Halsey joined The Chainsmokers for a performance of “Closer” and Laurie Hernandez presented Beyoncé with a moonman. No big deal.

5. The Hello Kitty Cafe truck is headed to the Garden State Plaza.
The Garden State Plaza in Paramus is getting a visit from the Hello Kitty Cafe truck on Saturday, September 3. The truck will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Have a fantastic week!
