The power of Hello Kitty was strong Saturday as hundreds of fans, from babies to adult women decked out in Hello Kitty garb from head to toe, waited in line for hours to grab some sweet and souvenirs from the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck. Some of the New Jersey superfans waited as much as three hours in line to snag cookies, bow-shaped water bottles, mugs and a souvenir tote bag from the roving attraction, which was parked outside the Grand Lux Cafe.

Fashion blogger and OMJ Trendsetter Dana Prigge’ showed off her spoils on Instagram.

Here are a few more fun shots of the event with I downloaded from our Snapchat (omjfeed):

This baby has been a fan since before she was born: her mom had a Hello Kitty baby shower. Even her stroller!

The treats were great but most people came for the novelty of the experience.

The gift shop did a brisk business. How cute is this mug?

Love this sweatshirt!

As for me, the line was too long for my little kids to wait in so we enticed them inside the mall for some Baked by Melissa treats. A sweet time was had by all!

(The truck heads to the King of Prussia mall in Pennsylvania next weekend. Road trip, anyone?)
