Actress Anne Hathaway took her role in new movie Colossal very seriously. The proud Jersey girl, who grew up in Millburn, told People during the Toronto International Film Festival, that even though she was shooting Colossal while pregnant with son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, she didn’t cut corners, or apparently have a body double.

“There’s one fall in the movie where I actually did trip, and it was just kind of that thing where I fell on my stomach,” she says. “The reaction in the movie is genuine. And the crew, everybody around me, everyone freaked out for a second.”

She noted that there weren’t too many adjustments she had to make to safeguard her pregnancy, aside from using sound effects for certain actions, like hitting a bed, which she couldn’t perform in the same way as before. But being with child did help her in certain ways. “If anything, it was great because through the emotional scenes, I was just there,” Anne said.

And we can’t help but be in awe of Anne’s once again flawless red carpet style. The new mom, who’s spoken out about postpartum body image, already killed it in the fashion department on the Alice Through the Looking Glass press tour in June. Her Rodarte floral dress from the Toronto premiere is even more stunning (even if fashion site Go Fug Yourself begged to disagree):
