If your kids are anything like my niece, then they love dinosaurs. While you can take them to the museum to see the skeletal remains of one, prehistoric theme park Field Station Dinosaurs created the ultimate experience for dino lovers.
Called Dinosaurs After Dark, this event taking place at 8 pm in Leonia on Friday lets families make a fun, mysterious journey into a shadowy, prehistoric world. “Explore our lantern lit trails but WATCH OUT,” reads the description. “Danger lurks in every corner and there’s a T-Rex on the loose.”
Awesome Autumn begins tomorrow at the Field Station! Get lost in a Raptor Trap, carve your own dinosaur jack-o-lantern, cast your vote in a dinosaur election and much more! Tomorrow's Super Star of Science is NJ's very own Bat Man. Get up close with bats and other animals from 12-5p. See you out on the trails!
There’s also a chance to check out their show “Dinosaurs Dino-Mite” about the history and mystery of Dinosaur Discovery, play T-Rex games, and answer the 65 million year old question, “Did Dinosaurs See in the Dark?” Of course, it wouldn’t be the ultimate nighttime activity without a little s’mores action. You’ll end the night with a dinosaur sing-a-long complete with a campfire and roasted marshmallows.
Want to book? Head to the website and you’ll have to pay just $24.
And if dinosaurs aren’t exactly your child’s forte, check out one of these awesome spots throughout New Jersey for the hands down best play date in the state.
