More than 200 New Jersey residents tied up their sneakers and headed to Overpeck County Park in Fort Lee for the 2016 Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation’s Annual Walk to End Brain Cancer. Among the participants were the Wakile family, who walked on Team Victoria. Victoria Wakile has always been open about sharing her health journey to spread awareness, and the annual walk was another step (or however many steps are in a 5k!) towards her goal.
I'd like to THANK ALL OF YOU for reaching out these past couple weeks as you watched the episodes of my lastest scare. God is so good and I am so blessed to be HAPPY, HEALTHY and CELEBRATING LIFE with my family and friends! My family and I chose to share this journey with you because we've always wanted to spread love, hope and awareness. This year especially, I am very excited to be walking with Team Victoria at Overpeck County Park on October 2nd with CBTF and all the thriving teams! Text NJWALK20 to walk with me or visit CBTF.org for more info! Xoxo ❤️ you.
Kathy took to Instagram to share her love for the cause and her family.
