Holiday weekends will always be synonymous with festive events and celebrations. On Saturday, East Rutherford continued the excitement for day two of their 9th Annual Columbus Day Festival and Parade. The streets were flooded with residents enjoying  delicious food from local vendors, adventurous activities, live musical performances, and so much more.

To support breast cancer awareness month, members of the East Rutherford fire department set up a station to raise money for the Hackensack Hospital by selling t-shirts.

If you couldn’t make it October 6 or 7, don’t worry. There’s still one more day to bring in the fun. Sunday the festival and parade will take place from 12 to 7 p.m.
