A best friend is someone you can share anything and everything with, and no one knows that better than New Jersey reality TV star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who showed off her brand new boob job to best friend Jenni “JWoww” Farley in a recent Moms With Attitude video on YouTube. Snooki has talked about her desire to get her breasts augmented for several years, since becoming a mom to first son Lorenzo, 4, back in August of 2012, then daughter Giovanna, 2, in 2014. She told talk show host and Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel on her show Bethenny in 2013, “I want to feel confident with my boobies and I don’t.” In response, Frankel told her, “You’ve got to get the lift.”
Now, three years later, she’s done it, and seems very happy with her decision. The surgery, which involved both a lift and implants, took place a week ago. Nicole explains in the video why this was so important for her, even though she does plan to get pregnant again, stating, “I’m in my prime right now, I’m going to be 29, and I want to be as hot as I can.” The Florham Park entrepreneur, who will appear on The New Celebrity Apprentice in January, said that she calls the surgery “my little mommy makeover,” and what mom doesn’t understand wanting to look and feel your best after having kids? Nicole admits that she wants to look good for her husband, Jionni LaValle, but that the decision wasn’t just about him. “I also want to feel great about myself and that was just an insecurity that I had.” She opted for C cups, and admits, “I didn’t want to have JWoww boobs.”
Watch the candid revelation:
The downsides? She can’t pick up her kids at the moment, while she’s recovering, plus it’s “a little painful,” and she has to sleep propped up. But it’s worth it, because even though she’s one of New Jersey’s most devoted celebrity workout queens and says she’s been exercising intently for three years, no matter how hard you train, “you can never change your boobs. Once your boobs sag, that’s it.” So even though she felt good about her body before, getting a boob job was the final step in her transformation process. “I feel complete now,” she proudly announces before she spills her big secret to her BFF.
When she does reveal her newly enhanced cleavage, showcased by a form-fitting tank top, at first Jenni doesn’t believe her. “Wait a minute, you actually did,” she finally says, touching them to be absolutely sure. “I thought you were wearing a really good sports bra,” Jenni explains. Even though she’s initially upset that Nicole kept the secret from her, she gets over it quickly.
Both of them are outspoken about their frustration when people criticize them for beautifying themselves under the assumption that just because they have kids, they shouldn’t care about their looks. “I don’t appreciate when people say ‘Why are you getting things done because now you’re a mom?'” declares Snooki, (who Snapchatted getting Botox this summer) emphasizing that women especially want to “feel good about ourselves” after giving birth. “I want to feel sexy and I want to feel pretty, so anybody that has anything negative to say about me getting my boobs done or my lips, why do you care? It’s not you, it’s me.” Right on! The outspoken, tattooed Jersey girls both agree that “mom shamers” aren’t adding anything positive to the parenting conversation.
Snooki also posted on Snapchat that she plans to interview her doctor so fans can find out more details and how she’ll manage to breastfeed when she does have another child:
Not everyone has reacted well to the news. Nicole also posted that she’s gotten negative comments about her makeup in recent images post-surgery, and she’s absolutely not having it, especially during Bullying Prevention Month. She wrote on Instagram, “I’m sitting here beyond excited to share with you guys my story and all I see is people calling me ugly and gross because my makeup sucks cause I could hardly do it myself post surgery. I can handle it, you telling me im disgusting. But others can’t.”
By the way, its bullying prevention month. So I'm sitting here beyond excited to share with you guys my story and all I see is people calling me ugly and gross because my makeup sucks cause I could hardly do it myself post surgery. I can handle it, you telling me im disgusting. But others can't. So being that's its BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH, Be a Nice Fucking Person and lift people up instead of being a dick and making them feel terrible about themselves. That is all. ????
It sounds like Snooki is taking the advice of these “be strong,” “carpe diem” and “be brave” bracelets she’s selling in her Etsy store!
