New Jersey’s very own supermodel Pat Cleveland is scheduled to be honored with the Fashion Provocateur Award at the Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars on October 27 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Known for breaking barriers in the world of modeling and necks with her sense of style, we over at OMJ believe this award is well deserved!

Her longtime fashion designer friend and Newark native Stephen Burrows is set to present it to her. We can only imagine what she’ll wear to the event, but we can almost guarantee she’ll have her model daughter and South Orange native Anna Cleveland right by her side.

The 66-year-old Harlem-raised trendsetter kicked off her reign in fashion in the mid-1960s, when she was discovered on a subway platform in New York City by a Vogue fashion editor and the rest is history. She went on to become one of the first African-American muses to achieve prominent success on both the runway and in print. Pat opens up about her glamorous, yet sometimes gritty, journey as a model in her new memoir Walking with the Muses.

She won’t be the only talent in the house. Other big names being honored and attending the ceremony include Hailey Baldwin, Tory Burch, Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, Riccardo Tisci and many more!
