Steve and Christian Estrellado, partners of the Paramus digital advertising agency, Estro Communications and official ambassadors for the American Cancer Society hosted the Real Men Wear Pink fundraising event at Morton’s The Steak House at the Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack on Monday.
Joined by Jody Ryder of Isagenix, Stephanie Pou of Jack Danils Audi and Tom Bassette, “Team Estro” formed to raise awareness of the Real Men Wear Pink campaign’s goal of involving women’s significant others in the support of breast cancer.
“Breast cancer can be a very isolating and lonely experience,” explained Steve. “We wanted to show our support and let them know they’re not alone.”
Team Estro raised several thousand dollars as a result of an evening of food, music, festivities, support and awareness. Morton’s The Steak House sponsored the night, providing their famous steak and blue cheese bruschetta, succulent crab cakes, lamb chops and spicy Ahi tuna.
Local businesses, including Powerflow Yoga from Glen Rock, Hartshorn Portraiture in Hoboken, Posh Skin Care and YogaVibe Waldwick donated products and services for a raffle to benefit the American Cancer Society. The raffle even included the use of an Audi for a weekend!
