There seems to be one thing in common among the Jersey Shore cast members other than partying: they’re the worst cooks in America. Jenni “JWoww” Farley took home the top honor on the last season of the Worst Cook in America and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has been battling it out for the same title on Season 9.
But, in the second to last episode, Mike is getting a little help from his fellow cast mate as Jenni made an appearance on the October 26th show. “I haven’t seen her since Jersey Shore, so to see her, it was special for me,” he told the Food Network blog. “I thought we had a really cool beginning of the show where we hugged it out, and I really missed her and it was good to see her.”
For the skill drill challenge, the celebrities had to execute a simple recipe that is missing some key words. Then, for their main challenge, the remaining recruits had to cook complicated pasta dishes for special guests and former Worst Cooks contestants Jenni and Kendra Wilkinson. The celebrities with the best dishes head to the finale.
Unfortunately, even with Jenni’s help, Mike didn’t make it to the final round. Chef Anne Burrell said there was too much sauce on the plate forcing him to be sent home. But, he didn’t go home empty handed. The reality star walked away with $5,000 for his charity, St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
