Across New Jersey, plenty of families spend their Sundays cheering on the New York Jets. Jessie James Decker and her children, Vivianne and Eric are no different!
The Deckers, who might just be the team’s biggest fans, cheer on father, wide receiver Eric Decker each week.
“We all have Jets gear on whether it’s Jets PJs or a Jersey,” the mom of two told E! News.
They really get decked out in Jets gear! (See what we did there?)
“Vivi gets very into it and will sit, watch and keep her eyes glued,” said the country singer of away games. “She will make me rewind whenever there is a close-up of Eric.”
When the Jets are home, Jessie explained that the kids love to go to MetLife Stadium to cheer Eric on in person.
“They just see him as daddy so I don’t know if they really get it sometimes,” she said. “As soon as he’s done with a game and comes out of the tunnel, it’s immediately ‘Daddy, I need to poopy!’ or ‘Daddy, I’m hungry!’”
With two kids under two, it sounds as though these parents rarely get a break!
The 28-year-old explained that although their children are a handful, the couple always makes an effort to find time for themselves, even if it’s just watching Netflix. Jessie has a whole song about staying in for a relaxed night with Eric, so we’re not surprised that Netflix and chilling is one of their favorite kinds of dates!
There you have it, the Deckers are just like the rest of us!
