If you love Italian food (and who doesn’t?), you’ll want to head right over to Ramsey to the newly opened Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, the 50,000 square foot New Jersey outpost of the popular Long Island supermarket where you can get all your normal grocery store staples as well as everything from fresh mozzarella, pasta and pizza to their Holy Cannoli dip and so much more. The store held a soft opening on Friday that was a hit with customers, according to NJ.com. As Marketing Manager Johanna Zucaro explained about their offerings, “We have everything you find in other supermarkets but done the old-fashioned way with good service and products.”

What do the mean by old fashioned? According to Philip DelPrete, one of the chain’s four co-founders, who was quoted at NorthJersey.com, “We want to give people the experience of going to buy meat and the butcher knows your name.” And now Bergen County locals can have that along with authentic Italian cheeses (including concessions like mozzarella with bacon), meats and more.

Here are some of the scrumptious edibles you’ll find at Uncle Giuseppe’s, ones that have certainly made us hungry!

We spy a new item! Don't miss our fresh #mozzarella with #bacon!
