There are two types of people in the world. Those who are looking forward to Thanksgiving and those who are waiting for Thanksgiving to be over so they can binge watch the Netflix revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life at midnight. The latter will be pretty excited about the details Jersey girl Liza Weil, aka Paris Geller, has recently shared about the show.

Although it’s been 10 years since the series finale of Gilmore Girls, Liza told Cosmopolitan that Paris is still very much a part of her. Despite feeling hesitant to play the mean girl, as the character developed, she came to love Paris.

“I certainly think I have aspects of Paris in me,” said the Passaic native. “I think I can get a little passionate about the things that I believe in an maybe that can be a little intense for people.”

Despite Paris’s tendency to be harsh (which is usually forgivable, as her one liners are always hilarious), Liza still thinks the character is a great role model for young girls.

“The thing that’s the most lovely to me, looking back at my time on Gilmore Girls, was how fortunate I was to be a young actor and to be on a show that made it really cool for girls to be smart,” I really don’t think there were any other shows like that at that time that were portraying young girls like that.

Face it. Her name was destined to be on a door. #GilmoreGirls #AYearintheLife

“There are a lot of great role models on the show. I think that it’s probably a good thing to aspire to be a little mix of every woman you see on the show,” explained the 39-year-old. “If you put all those women in a blender, you’d be in pretty good shape.”

While Liza can’t reveal much about the reboot, she did share that there will be scenes between Paris and her boyfriend, Doyle.

It’s pretty difficult not to jump to conclusions when pairing that information with the sneak peek of a Chilton uniform that Liza Instagrammed during filming. Obviously, Paris is too old to be wearing a high school uniform, so is there a chance that she has a daughter with Doyle?!

Okay, maybe we’re getting ahead of ourselves here. Either way, we’re really excited to watch!
