The Friends of Doug Duchak Foundation held its second annual Celebratino of the Life and Legacy of Doug Duchak, the former CEO and president of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, at Woodland Park’s Westmount Country Club Wednesday night.
Last year’s first fundraiser raised enough funds to provide numerous college scholarships as well as donations to charities that help children with Autism, a cause near and dear to their hearts. While the national average of children affected by Autism is 1 in 68, NJ’s average is the highest in the country at a rate of 1 in 45 children. This year’s fundraiser aimed to do the same.
