So, you binge-watched Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and now you’re feeling lost. Liza Weil, the Passaic native who brought iconic mean girl Paris Geller to life, is giving some killer advice to help you move forward. The Jersey girl sat down with Nylon Magazine to share some tips on how to live an awesome life.

1. You are enough.
“There’s not another person like you and there’s value to that.”

2. Stay inspired.
Liza always tries to get inspired by the work of others.

3. You learn from failing.
“It’s good to fail,” she said. “You shouldn’t consider it failing.”

4. Trust yourself.
“If you’re doing something or asked to do something that doesn’t feel right or makes you uncomfortable, listen to that voice. Your gut is usually right. Use your brain and listen to your heart.”

5. Challenges lead to growth.
“I feel like I’m constantly presented with challenges and situations that I’m learning from,” she said. “It’s exciting to be in situations that are uncomfortable sometimes.”

6. When you’re feeling lost, imagine you’re in a book you really love.
This is a piece of advice Liza always reminds herself of and loves to share with other people.

7. Work breeds work.
“You can’t just float around and wait for something to happen,” explained the actress. “Any kind of work you’re doing has equal value. And you have to be ready, you don’t know what that next thing is that you’re going to get or be asked to do, so you’ve got to be loose and ready to go.”
