Sure, New Jersey is known for some awesome Boardwalk food and Italian dishes, but did you know we also have some killer steak? Yup, according the Daily Meal’s America’s 50 Best Steakhouses for 2016, a spot in in Edgewater is considered one of the best in the country. So, what is it? None other than The River Palm.
The delicious eatery was already named the Best Steakhouse in New Jersey earlier this year and has now come in at No. 39 on this national list. Why? They’re known for their delectable Black Angus USDA Prime steaks that are dry-aged in-house for 28 days, seafood purchased daily from Hunts Point Market and even their sushi.
“Even though it’s located on the opposite side of the Hudson River from Manhattan, just south of the George Washington Bridge, The River Palm Terrace can rank right up there with the big boys across the water,” reads the review. In fact, they topped a list that includes culinary centers like Las Vegas, Chicago and New York, something the steakhouse is clearly happy about.
“Once again we are truly honored to be listed as one of the top 50 Steakhouses in the United States,” they proudly wrote on Facebook. “33 Years of outstanding leadership by John Campbell; our talented chefs, amazing management and staff and of course, our loyal customers. Thank you!”
