Andy Cohen has accomplished everything possible in Hollywood. He was a successful producer for the Real Housewives franchise, became a TV host and even an author. So, when he was asked on Tuesday on the Allegedly podcast if there is anything else he’d like to accomplish he only had one thing listed: fatherhood.
“Is there anything that you haven’t accomplished that you really want to accomplish?” hosts Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss asked Cohen. “Not really,” he replied, before bringing up the topic of children. “I mean, maybe being a dad.” “Professionally, no,” Cohen added. “I’m not an actor. I’d like to maybe host a game show, but yeah, I don’t know what that would be. Everything’s good.”
The hosts later brought up the topic of children again asking if the Watch What Happens Live host would want a boy or girl. “I would just want someone healthy,” responded Cohen.
This revelation comes after the 48-year-old made an appearance at an EW SiriusXM Town Hall for The Jess Cagle Interview, where he talked about his new book “Superficial” admitting he was facing a lot of loneliness in his life.
“There are moments of real loneliness and isolation that I think are probably common,” he told Cagle. “But A, the fact that I’m allowing myself to go there in my own mind, and then to write about how that feels after you’ve hosted an episode of your talk show and people are cheering for you. It sounds really trite and like a bad Lifetime movie, and then you go home and you’re actually like, ‘Wow, I feel lonely and this doesn’t feel good.’”
