Teresa Guidice and Melissa Gorga sure know how to come together for a good cause. The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars traveled from New Jersey for the 2016 Emery Awards: Help Me Imagine Wednesday night, which honors individuals and corporations that create safe and supportive environments for young people, regardless of sexual orientation or identity.
The Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper hosted the December 7 event that took place at Cipriani Wall Street in Manhattan calling the crowd “gorgeous.” Two of those gorgeous women were, of course, Teresa and Melissa. Mom-of-four Teresa looked amazing in a jumpsuit and coat from her favorite NJ boutique Robin’s Closet.
“#EmeryAwards #ootn @robinsclosetboutique love my look! #jumpsuit,” she wrote on Instagram.
Meanwhile her sister-in-law Melissa donned a stunning white sheath with a mock turtleneck and sheer sleeves. “So happy to be here at the #emeryawards #HMI with @teresagiudice & @bravotv #spreadthelove #lgbtpride,” wrote the clothing boutique owner.
The event itself was gorgeous with flowers adorning the tables while blue and purple lights lit up the stunning venue.
The reality stars weren’t the only celebrities in attendance. George Takei, one of the 2016 Emery’s Awards Honorees, made an appearance along with Miss J Alexander, Shakina Nayfack from Difficult People and Abigail Savage from Orange is the New Black.
And clearly the night was all about having fun and celebrating the LGBTQ community. The whole crowd had big smiles all night and Melissa even whipped out Snapchat to share moments before the event while waiting for Teresa to pick her up (she was late, natch!) and from the venue late into the evening. “I had fun on snapchat tonight,” she wrote.
Afterwards there wasn’t much rest for Teresa. The hardworking star got up at 4:30 am for a flight to Iowa to do a PR event with RHONY star Dorinda Medley.
