On Monday, Gap launched its first limited-edition capsule collection with Disney, an adorable pairing that’s sure to be a hit with fun-loving fashionistas everywhere. The launch items feature the iconic Mickey and Minnie Mouse (but of course). Teen Vogue reports, “To keep us on our toes, the collaboration will be broken up into multiple mini collections that will drop at varying times, beginning this month and continuing through early 2017. Each grouping of merch will center around a single beloved Disney character. ”
“Disney characters bring tremendous joy to everyone around the world. We create products to inspire the imagination of children that we hope will spark their curiosity and unleash their adventurous spirit,” said Gap Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer Wendi Goldman, as quoted by Fashion Week Daily. They also reported that, “On December 26, Gap and Disney will follow the Mickey and Minnie Mouse apparel with a rollout of Dumbo-themed clothing. Expect other characters to follow throughout 2017.”

We know at least three Jersey girls who are diehard Disney fans who we can totally imagine decked out in these fun outfits: Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and teen Yoga Hosers actress Harley Quinn Smith. Jenni is so obsessed with Disney, she got an entire arm sleeve tattoo featuring Disney fairy tales. Nicole called Disney World “such a magical place” during a trip earlier this year, and Harley Quinn called Disneyland Paris her “natural habitat” and even brought her grandmother to a Little Mermaid singalong!
As a teen I saw brother bear being made and from that day on I wanted to work for Disney. I Moved to NYC to go to college for animation and graphics but during my senior year I had a chance to go on a little show called jersey shore… Fast forward 7 years later, my love for Disney never changed. I grew up always saying I'm going to find my "Prince Charming" and have my "happily ever after." Even though @rogermathewsnj is the love of my life and the one for me, I learned there is no fairy tales. Relationships are hard work and you have to work your ass off to keep them. Everyday isn't "once upon a time" and "true love" you have to put in work and compromise with the one you decide to be with. So that's my sleeve. I took four major scenes from Disney that represent "true love" and @sarahmillertattoo is helping me show the reality. These four scenes will be the same except for their expressions… We turned them into everyday couples with everyday problems… And possibly "happily never after" because at the end of the day, everyday isn't a fairy tale. Cannot wait for August when it is complete and comes to life @inkedmag
Here are some of the items available now on Gap’s website that we think would look fabulous on these cartoon loving ladies, even if they’re officially children’s clothes. After all, you’re never too old for a mouse ear headband, right?
