It looks like Paramus residents just might have a new form of entertainment headed their way: indoor skydiving. The company Sky Group Investments filed an application to open an iFly Indoor Skydiving along with a restaurant in the Bergen County town at the location of the former Forum Diner.
According to NorthJersey.com, “The main attraction is offering customers, some as young as 3 years old, a simulation of free-fall conditions in a vertical wind tunnel.” Wheeee! While the company still has to get permission from the town, they hope to open in December of 2017, and are listed with a late 2017 opening on Indoor Skydiving Source, along with another New Jersey location in Mount Laurel to open in 2017. The company still has several hoops to jump through in order to get its zoning request passed; the next hearing will take place on February 9. Wind speeds go from 90 miles per hour for small flyers and up to 170 mph for more experienced flyers.
This was where Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and husband Joe Giudice celebrated their daughter Milania‘s tenth birthday in February. They went to an iFly location in Westchester County, and by the looks of things, the family had a great time!
