Tod Wilson, known as Mr. Tod, began selling pies in Somerset in 2002. Nearly 15 years later, he’s still creating some of the best baked goods in New Jersey.
Now based out of Englewood, Mr. Tod’s Pie Factory is known for its delicious goodies, created from scratch with all-natural ingredients. Country Living Magazine, the New York Times, TODAY and even Oprah agree that Mr. Tod’s pies are exceptional. He was even the first entrepreneur to win Shark Tank! The bakery was recently named one of 25 best bakeries for the holidays by NJ.com‘s Pete Genovese, who considers Mr. Tod’s banana creme pie to be one of the best New Jersey dishes of the decade.
Although his variety of southern-style treats are all fantastic, the pies take the cake. Available in a box of ten miniatures (five sweet potato and five mini pecan) for $39.99, or $30 to $35 for a 10 inch, you can have these delicious pies delivered right to your doorstep.
The Englewood bakery has a much more extensive menu than the online shop (the banana creme is only available in-store), including everything from breakfast and lunch comfort food dishes to mini cheesecakes. The bakery is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
We’re seriously reconsidering all of the New Years resolutions we were planning on!
