Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kathy Wakile and her husband Richard Wakile might be based in the Garden State, but they proved they were citizens of the world in 2016 after racking up an impressive number of vacations. Their travels took them all over the country, the Caribbean and even Europe making us #jealous of all their adventures.
They kicked off their year with a modest trip to their home in Fort Lauderdale where they enjoyed stunning sunsets and ocean views.
Fort Lauderdale was actually a popular choice for the couple this year as they also just vacationed there recently while New Jersey was experiencing their first snow of the season.
And that’s not the only vacation they took within the U.S. The pair also headed out west to California where they tackled a number of hot spots while in the state. They started out in Los Angeles where they dined at the famous Ivy restaurant before heading up north to San Francisco.
Along the way they hit up some stunning coastal destinations like Big Sur and Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Of course, they couldn’t pass up a trip to Cali without a stop in wine country. They headed to Napa where they showed off some stunning vineyards and drank some delicious wine.
The rest of their getaways were outside the country and ranged from metropolitan hot spots to beachy paradises. Canada was a popular destination for Kathy this year as she hit up Toronto, Montreal and Quebec for a variety of work and personal reasons.
Then the Franklin Lakes resident made us all jealous a few months ago when she celebrated her 25th anniversary with her husband in the Caribbean. They started in Saint Martin (aka, St. Maarten) and then moved to nearby island Anguilla, both equally drool worthy.
The reality star’s most epic vacation of all was the one where she took her whole family, including kids Victoria and Joseph, to Europe. They started in Barcelona, Spain where they chowed down on some delectable fare before touring all over Greece showing off just how many beautiful beaches there are in the Mediterranean country.
We can only imagine what’s in store for 2017! Kathy, can we fit in your carry-on?
